This is kind of an odd question, but I hope someone out there has seen this and knows how to change it. I am working in Access 2003 in the VBA window and when I am typing it will instantly remove the space at the end of a line if I pause for just a split second. For example if I am putting in a comment in my code like "This line is for " and the I pause for less then a second Access moves the cursor back to right after the "r" in "for" and some when I resume typing I end up adding more text to the previous word. Has anyone out there experienced this? Does anyone know if there is some way to stop it from doing this?

Thanks!

Hi -

Had the same problem and was advised that most likely there was a form open that utilized a timer. Sure enough, and closing that form while developing solved the issue.

You should also turn off Name Auto-Correct in Tools>Options>General tab.

No luck yet

My switchboard has an on timer event. When I opened my database and bypassed the autoexec so it did not open that did the trick. Thank you Bob that was driving me nuts!
