Specify Outlook 2003 preferences when sending reports

I use the built-in toolbar to send reports via email using the "Mail to Mail Receipient as Attachment" button, and output as an SNP file. However, when Outlook opens, it changes the default format to plain text, doesn't include my signature, and the Outlook interface is different - almost like it's running a different version. (I only have 2003 installed.)

Can someone help me set this right?
