Hi All,

One last thing...I promise!

I work for a company, not at all in the programming industry, not even remotely IT or anything. I have started to build this database. It is very effecient, and will probably be used for years to come. Since I am only a temp here, I would like to leave my name (at least) somewhere where it cannot be removed.

Preferably on a splash-screen everytime the database is opened.

Can this be done?

Thanks

Knowing that you are using a switchboard, you could use the "On Open" event for the switchboard to trigger the display of your "SplashScreen"

You can use the "On Timer" event (of the splashscreen) to close your splash screen.

You could leave you mark on the switchboard itself (and be real cheeky) :)

This presumes that you only open your switchboard once during the operation of the db. (ie: when the db is first opened)

Brad.

That will work perfect,

How do I get a bitmap to be diplayed on the form,

What I was thinking of was to create a form, on the form put the company logo, and then something corny like CREATED BY: Yours Truly, and perhaps the date as well.

Then I would like to use the on open event to open this form, and display it for about 7 seconds. That would be perfect.

How do I get a Bitmap of the company logo on the form though?
