splitting the report

happy new year guys

Question: I have a report based on a query that has like 300 pages and I have to print it client by client. But it prints continous, mixing the clients.

Surfing the forum I have seen something like - go to detail, right click, and force new page or something for splitting after the criteria that I choose. I didn't find this option in my version of access - I use Access 2000 and Acess 2002. I could eventualy do a loop and change the clients from code but if it's a easier way I would prefere it.

Go to your report's design view and ask the Assistant:

"force new page"

and he'll show you what to do.

I don't get it, how do I tell this to the assistant to force the new page, once the report is already created?
I open it in creation mode and I have no idea where to go to modify something by assistant.

ANd if I create the report, I don't find where I have to go to do that.

Use he group by option to group by Client

weird

its working a while(like for 4-5 clients ) and after a while some records are mixed, generally the small ones, with 2 or 3 lines.

I don't understand anything anymore

had to drag down the footblabla and now it does it right
