Spruce Up Forms

Is there anything I can do to spruce up the appearance of my forms - for example different colour command buttons, shapes, backgrounds etc

For different colour command buttons you can "work around" this by using labels.

Set the label's SpecialEffect to Raised.

On the Mouse Down event change the SpecialEffect to Sunken
On the Mouse Up event change the SpecialEffect To Raised
On the Click event do your same code you would have on a button's click

You can put pictures in the backgroud of form. Look up the Picture property.

As for shapes - I've seen it done but it involves an awful lot of programming with Windows rather than Access.
