SQL Server Resources

I downloaded and installed SS Express on my computer and figure I need to learn. Can anyone recommend good resources especially books or free online courses? I was looking at the Inside Out 2017 Administrator book just because I really liked their Access version. May need a more beginner book to start with.

This isn't a direct answer but a good start may be to download the AdventureWorks example database. Its the SS equivalent of Northwind

Have a look at the Microosft free courses for SQL server.
I assume you have also downloaded SSMS? There are some good tutorials for that, that end up being basic SQL Server tutorials.
