Stop 'rounding up' of numbers on form

Access is automatically 'rounding up' numbers as I enter them in my text box on my form. Eg, 11.5 becomes 12. I see that in the Properties of the text box, if I choose 'Currency' then it does not round up, but then it has a currency sign next to the number, which is not applicable in this case. Anybody help please?

Sounds like something needs to be set to a 'single' data type instead of an 'integer'.

Remember, an integer is a whole number, no decimals.
