Hi All,
I have a really weird problem and can't seem to figure out the answer.
I'm hoping someone else might have come across the same thing.

I have a access 2007 db that is rolled out to users using the Developer > Package Solution option.
This installs a copy of the db on their pc and Access 2007 runtime.

The db works fine on all users pc's execpt for one user who is reporting that on all forms that contain a subform in datasheet view, there are no filder dropdowns on the headings.

I've confirmed that this is the case but can't figure out what would be hiding them.

I've tried uninstalling the package and Access runtime and reinstalling but it makes no difference.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

All the best

Ok, I've looked at the user's problem again and realised that the dropdown filter buttons ARE there. It's just that the button has no image so you don't see the down arrow but you can still click on it!
I'm guessing that Access uses a particular font for the down arrow and that is what is missing from the PC.
Anyone know what the font might be? It's not MTExtra or MSOutlook.

I remember one time running into some issue concerning this - I believe the problem was that the user had set up the machine with other font size than Normal. In XP it's right-click Desktop ->Properties->Appearance -> Font Size. In W7 -no clue. :)

Hi spikepl,
Thanks for the suggestion. Her font size was set to normal. I tried setting it to large and back again and even reset her windows theme but no joy.
Good thought though - keep'em coming!
