Sub Form

I created a form (Record) with 13 fields. I then created a main form (Examinee) and made my "Record" form a sub form. Every time I try to enter information into the sub form I get the following error: "You can't assign a value to this object". What am I doing wrong? Should my fields be unbound? Thank you.

You need to give more information.

Does your subform work when you open it outside the Main Form?

Do you get the same error no matter which of the 13 fields you are trying to type in?

What is the relationship between the Main form and the subform?

How have you defined the Master/Child relationship?

I founf the problem, my subform did not have it's own unique primary key. I forgot to add one. I added the primary key (autonum) and it worked great. Thank you for your response.
