I have created a form I wish to use as a subform and it works perfectly, until I create a Subform (sfrm_PODetails) within the main form (frm_MRR) and I get the error 3021.

What is the problem?

Appreciate any help!

Thank you.

I had that message a few days ago & it had me ripping out the small pieces of hair I have left. In my case & I stress "my case" the problem was that I had modified the switchboard. What I had done was to add two new forms to the switchboard AND had clicked "Open Form In Add Mode" instead of "Open Form In Edit Mode". That's all it was and once I figured it out I was back in action. My problem only arose when I selected the two forms in question, the remaining reports etc worked ok. I went looking for all sorts of possible causes, even opening the suspect db's on another computer (with the same results too) I hope your problem is something as simple. Good luck.

Still didnt work :(

Any other ideas? Tried deleting the form and recreating it, no joy.

A subform would imply that you have a parent/child relationship. A couple things to check:

1. Is there an existing record in the parent form for which you are trying to create a record in the child subform.

2. Have you defined your parent/child relationship correctly.
