Subform navigation

Hi.. i have a subform on an input form on a quotation building application. It all seems to work ok but when i find an existing quotation in order for the subform to show the pre built quotes it opens the form blank and you have to click forward and back on the record selectors in order for the data to appear... whilst this isnt a massive issue it's just abit annoying for the user. New users have difficulty in finding pre created quotes. is there a way to prevent the need to press forward and back through the record selector? Any help would be much appreciated.

subform must have Parent/Child Link Fields in in order that the subform "synch" with the main form.
