Subform not showing enteries until I activate something on the subform

I have a subform related to the parent, I also have an add new record button on the subform. The subform won't display all the transactions until I attempt to add a new record, When I click on the Add bNew Record button all the transactions that should be on the subform are displayed.

Can anyone tell why this is happening

Any help would be appreciated

What is the code behind your button? Can you post a sample db with test data?

maybe the subform's Data Entry is set to Yes?
