Subform Won't Display All Records

Glad to help:)

I shouldn't have spoken so quickly :p It seems my problem progresses...

When I open up my form to enter students into the subform, I get the error "Field Cannot Be Updated" or somewhere along those lines. If I press enter I can still enter the record and save it. But, I do want to know why that error appears because it will be an issue when we are entering multiple people at once.

Second, when I scroll to a new record in my main form, it will not show all of the records in that one's subform, only the first one. Does that make sense? It's basically the same issue I started with in my original post, I think.

... and when I close my database altogether and re-open it, none of the subform records show!

I didn't realise you wanted to input new records from here.

I've modified the subform by changing the query links and adding two more fields to the query and using them as combo boxes to look up the student and course.

I've also added in a bit of VBA behind both of the combo boxes to refresh the data when a student or course is selected.

What you can't do 'properly' is add new students or courses from this form. I wouldn't recommend it because all of the student or course fields may not be displayed once the form is fully developed - so I've locked those fields off.
