Hello all:

I have a report which is used as a quote letter. This is split into 3 pages with breaks. The first page is my letter, which has the quote number generated from the Quote Table as well as address information, etc.

The second page shows standard terms and conditions (i.e. company legal stuff). I have one more page break.

The last page is where I have an issue. It has a subreport that lists all of the part numbers, prices, notes for the part, etc. This subreport is linked to the master report by QUOTEID, which is the way the tables are run as well. What happens is that whenever I have more than 1 entry in the subreport, it shows the whole report again, and repeats for every row in the subreport.

I have searched far and wide and do not know what to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Bradley

I would create a group header and footer on QUOTEID.

Group Header on QUOTEID: The quote letter

Detail Section: standard terms and conditions

Group Footer on QUOTEID: sub report that lists all of the part numbers, prices, notes for the part, etc.

In the Parent report, make you you do not have the same table that is use in the sub report.

My guess is that you have too much in your query underlying the subreport. You don't need to have the main table linked in there (as it is already linked via the Master/Child links); just the table for the quote details.
