I have 3 subreports in 1 report. I would like the first report to print from tray 1 (white paper), the 2nd report to print from tray 2 (yellow paper) and the 3rd report to print from tray 1 (white paper). Can this be done?

Hum, views on my question but no responses. Come on you techy guys/gals...surely there is script that can be written that will allow me to do this. If there's not, can you respond stating that I'm out of luck and this can't be accomplished and that I will have to find another way to accomplish this.

My thinking is this (I might be wrong)...
You are really just looking at one report. The fact that you have subreports is irrelevant - these are just controls on a report. And you can only set the output device for the the report in design view and thus one value only.
I would consider splitting the reports into three discrete reports where you can the set the output individually. Use a macro to run them sequentially if you want a single push button solution.
As I say I might be wrong here though.

But here's where I think the macro may be a problem (and correct me if I'm wrong)...each subreport contains associate information for many associates. When the master report runs, it groups each subreport by the associate name thus printing all 3 subreports for that associate, then the next grouping will be for the next associate, and so on. If I put each report in a macro, then it will print the first report for all associates at once, then the second report for all associates and the same for the 3rd report. It won't print out the 3 reports by associate all together. Does this make sense?

Well I suppose you could leave subreports 1 and 3 as one report to print in the white tray and the other report (2) as a separate report to print in the yellow. That will ensure the whites are in order.
Is that what you mean?

Unfortunately that won't work. There are 150 associates where the 3 reports need to be in sequential order by associate of which will be put into a binder for Executive review. My hope was that the printer would print each report on its respective color paper without any manual intervention. If I print reports 1 and 3 from one job and report 2 from another job, then a person will have to manually insert the 2nd report between reports 1 and 2 per associate. This would have to be done for 150 associates. Thanks anyway for your help.
