subreport within a subreport question

Good morning all,
I have looked at many a subreport thread and haven't come across this issue yet.
I have a report linked to a subreport on 1 field, ( child, master). The subreport also has a subreport in it (different child, master). These reports use 3 tables.
tables 1 and 2 always have data, table 3 NOT always. When table 3 has no data ( the subreport subreport) my main subreport shows nothing. ( I hope this makes sense!)

is there a way to make my subreport show if the 2nd subreport HasData = no?

Check the Query On your Main Subreport

Is it possible you have a query on your main subreport that is inner joined on your 3rd table. This would bring back all the records from your 2nd table that have a match in your 3rd table. You probably need to change the join to bring back all the records in your 2nd table regardless of what it finds in your 3rd table.
