sudden db problems 2

Hi to all,
I have a very strange situation here and I hope someone can really help shed some light on this.
I have a db that is currently working just fine. the problem is when I create the .accde file, the end user is not able to open it. I am getting 2 different msg dependin on how the db is opened, if double-click on the file, the msg display You do not have the permission to open the database.
If the user open the same .accde file thru MsAccess (2010 by the way), another msg says MsAccess cannot find the database file ...... Please verify .......

When I try, it does open the .accde, no problem here
I have the user try to open the same db (.accdb file) and the user is capable to open it, no problem


What can cause such behavior have the same user be able to open .accdb and not .accde file ?

Could it be a Version issue?
The end users cant read your .accde version yet gives a false error of Permission.

can you elaborate a little more on what you mean about version ?
