Sudden problems exporting report to PDF

I use an MS Access database in a small business and get daily and/or specific historic reports in PDF format from it. This had been working fine since July 2016. Last week, suddenly reports started coming out with characters “bunched up” in its respective fields (see file in attachment).
I have changed fonts (original font was Calibri) to simpler, most common ones, such as Times New Roman or Courier New but the results are the same. I have set the fields to be auto-adjust (don’t really know the term in English, but bear with me).
I did not manage nor did I change any settings. This just started (apparently) happening out of the blue.
Any orientation? Has anyone here seen this before?
I would appreciate any orientation you may have. Thanks!

@CJ_London I apologize for the inconvenience, this is my first time ever posting in these forums. I have read the cross posting etiquette and rest assured I will keep this in mind in future publications. Thank you for pointing this out.

By the way, I still don't have a solution for my problem.

Regards--

As a newbie, I wouldn't expect you to know, no need to apologise.

Regret I don't have an answer other than to compact/repair and reboot.

Your question implies you are receiving pdf's but the problem seems to be with exporting pdf's.

If the latter, we would need to see the code you are using

Thanks CJ,

I have an update, I have been going at this for three days and it turns out this isn't a pdf-access issue, but a pdf-office one. Looks like the latest Adobe Reader version does not include a make PDF dll file which works as a plugin...

Thanks again for your support.
