Sum by week ending

I have checked a few of the postings but havent found exactly what I needed.

I have a table that has every employee and the hours worked per day for this year. My boss needs every employee's hours summed by w/e. All the info is there, I just dont know how to sum it by week ending..(almost 52 weeks and over 100 employees!)

So, how do I begin? I know I need to use a date function, but that is as far as I can go.

Would appreciate any help and it has to be simple for me. Thanks in advance..you have always helped me.

Add the following code to your query to get the week number:

Week Number: Format([Date],"ww",2,2) (Use the help for whatever options you need)

Then make a grouped query on the week numbers. Include the date field and set the grouping to 'Last'. This should give you the week numbers and the week ending date.
