Sum Problems

I have a database, with certain amounts of money owed by certain programs. AT the bottom of the report I need the subtotals of money owed by each. I have the fields program, and item price. So at the bottom It would be like..

Money owed by program A: $500
Money owed by program B: $3

If anyone can help me that owuld be great, I'm kind of new to this stuff. :)
 
In design view of your report, go to last section
called "Report Footer" . Create a textbox there
and in the control source, enter:

=Sum([FieldName])

This should give you the total of the column/field you
want to total.
 
Nope. All the sums are under the same field. But they have different programs attached to them. It's like:

program item price
S&S $5.00
S&S $8.00
B1st $13.98
B1st $7.99


So at the end I'll need the subtotal for S&S, and a subtotal for B1st.
