Hello!
Let me preface my question by saying that I'm just a database user and not someone who knows the coding stuff at all. I also wasn't sure which section this problem belonged in.
In short, when I create a query to sum donation amounts from various categories, the dollar sign is changed to the UK pound sign.
I checked the 'amount' column properties in the donation table and that seems correct, and the amounts are displayed normally for individual records.
When I check the property of the 'amount' column in the query, it starts of with 'general number' then 'currency' which is listed as the British pound, and then follows with other selections such as 'scientific' or 'percent' etc.
I think this started to happen after someone made an unauthorized change to the data entry form (that's a whole other issue!) but up until then everything was just fine. I'm hoping that the whole thing hasn't become corrupted or that somewhere a box was checked that shouldn't have been.....sigh.
Thanks in advance for any help....though I'd be especially grateful for a simple answer <g>.
