I have table and form with charges to clients...the fields are charge 1, charge 2, etc. Not all the records have the same amount of charges...some records have three charges (charge 1 + charge 2, charge 3). Some of the records have 5 charges and some have 2. Is there a way to sum this

Your table design is incorrect.

You'd be best to normalise your database before trying to sum anything.
