Hi There,

I have a table that contains every single item of stock and they all have a unique ID. (Table contents can be shown in the attached screenshot).
What I would like to do is make a Form Datasheet that shows a summary of all these items. I.e I have around 15 'K120' keyboards in my tblStock listed as individual items with their own StockID but I would like all those keyboards shown in the Form Datasheet as a single row saying Item: Keyboard, Make: Logitech, Model: K120, Quantity: 15

How would I go about doing this please?

Kind regards,

Dom

What fields exist in your table?
Can you show us a jpg of your tables and relationships?

Perhaps you could Count Make/Model and Group by Item

Sorry completely forgot to add the picture. Please find attached now.

Create a query that uses totals, (The Epsilon symbol at the top right of the query designer ribbon).

Bring in the Description, Manufacturer and Stock ID. Change the Group By under the stock ID to Count. The SQL should look something like;

Code:
SELECT Count(Stock_ID) AS CountOfStock_ID, Manufacturer , Description
FROM tblStockRecs
GROUP BY Manufacturer , Description;
