summing in a footer

Ok guys new issue....

I have a report with 3 subreports. The totals of the 3 subreports transfer back to the main report and are summed to the right. Now I need to sum down.

Example:
detail (below works fine)
Truck #------Inventory sum-----sublet sum------labor--------------sum
201-----------$56 -----------------$50------------- $100 ----------- $206
205-----------$60 ------------------- 0 -------------- $350 ------------$410


footer (following section is not working)

Grand Total--$116 ------------------$50 -----------$450 -----------$616


When I try to =Sum(inventory sum) or any other of the fields it asks me for those parameters when I view the report.


Any help is greatly appreciated!!

You'll have to add each subform control
=MySubform1+MySubform2 etc. you should also use the HasData method for each subreport to prevent errors, if you search here there have been several examples to help you
 
just wondering...but how do you calculate the totals from subreports and sending them out to the main report? i'm having trouble doing that since it makes each record from the subreport an individual report for some reason.
