Hi

I am changing icons on the switchboard on the fly. However, every time the icons or the graphics being loaded the message [Importing "File Path and name"] comes up.

I am storing the icon path and name in a table and then changing the picture property of a control with the new path.

It works fine but this annoying message flashes for half a second every time when new graphics is being loaded.

I tried docmd.echo and application.echo but it does not work.

Thanks

Kaspi

I am not sure how you are intitating the change of icons, but if it is dope in code then you might have luck with ...
DoCmd.SetWarning False

Use this right before the line of code that inditiates the icon change and then set it back to true right away. If you forget this you will loose lots of other valueable Access messages.
Good Luck
Chris

Hi Chris
Thanks for the idea.
Unfortunately, it did not work. The message seems to be generated by the system. I am thinking about embedding the icon images and then moving them above the transparent command buttons. Well, it will be much messier.
