Hello all,

My project involves the web, but my question is basic table structure. My client develops and sells his product to dealerships, who in turn sell directly to customers. He wants to add a searchable database to his website so that the user has the ability to search dealers by zip code or state. For example, the user chooses New York state, and dealers in NY state get retrieved.

This link shows some ideas I have been throwing around. I guess I am favoring #3- which leaves me room in the future to possibly add more tables of dealer related info linked by ID#.

Any feedback would be appreciated. :)

Thanks.

Thanks Pat. I set ID# column to autonumber and as my primary key. I indexed State and Zip.

Thanks again.
