For some reason that reminded me of when my wife and I lived in San Diego. In a particular neighborhood that was mostly gay and/or single people wihthout kids. We went to a Wendy's once, and were interested to note that despite being a good-sized building/franchise, there were zero tables there other than tiny tables for 2. It became a sort of symbolic thing to us as we continued making our decisions about where to move next. We'd be like "remember the Wendy's with only 2 person tables?!"

Heck, they have no imagination at all. Even the Mickie D's that my wife and I visit when on the road to my family reunion has some larger tables. They cater to the ROMEO crowd = Retired Old Men Eating Out. They gather once a week for breakfast pastries and coffee.
