Terminal Services Connection causing Read Only

I have a front end DB for stores to enter certain performance metrics that combine with POS data in the back end. We allow the stores to input data in forms through MS Terminal Services remote connection.

This has worked perfectly in the past but one of the groups we are currently setting up opens the DB to see Database is Read Only/Save as... and the actual forms are blanks...no input boxes even show up. Obviously I can't do a Save as since this is linked to the actual DB.

I checked the Trust Center settings.. they are normal
I checked the version of Access
I checked the source DB...it is good

Any thoughts would be greaty appreciated!!
 
Check their permissions on the folder containing the db (front and back if different).

I can not believe the network admin set up the user account with Read Only permissions and then asked why the DB's were coming up read only. But that is exactly what happened.

I spent a hour looking at the Access properties of the DB.
