Text Box Values

Hi all,

One is having one of those days.

1 Main Form (frm_Contracts) with a field called 'PARTDESCR' (tblContract)
1 Sub Form (frmRecords) with a field called 'DESCRIPTION' (tblRecords)

I need the input from the PARTDESCR to be copied to DESCRIPTION.

Using =[Forms]![frm_Contracts]![PARTDESCR] copies the data and indeed places the text into the text box, but it won't put the text into the table (tblRecords).

I've done this a 1000 times before aswell

Anyone?

In one of the events - probably the Before Update event of the subform you can use

Me!Description = Me.Parent.PARTDESCR

and it should then have it in the table.
