well for the last 8 months, I have been working on writing a database (amongst other things) which is to be used at a busy distribution center (around 300 users tracking 15 trailers per hour), and will control all activities about trailers, security, unloading, loading, movement around site, human resources etc.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped, whether directly responding, or by me finding the answer in search.

It's been fun learning access and interesting to find out what it is capable of doing, I hope that I have helped people with my posts, and that I will continue to do so.

the database has pleased the company I work for, and as a result are giving me more work to do in access, not sure if thats good or bad yet

Thanks again for all the help

wh00t, my friend, welcome to reality. If you show a skill that is otherwise missing in your company, you can bet your bottom dollar they will use that skill to the hilt. You'll never get away from Access now unless you change companies.

On the other hand, being an Access guru ain't so bad as things go. Could be worse, you could be a CP/M programmer for old Intel-8008 or 8080-based systems.

Congratulations. Now... how about getting me a JOB?!?! I've been wanting to move across the Atlantic for several years.

Great job! On to the next project, huh?
