Does anyone know how to set the backdrop of the Ms Access.

Example: If I want the opening of my program to be some picture backdrop, can this be done and all ms access object will eventually have the same backdrop.

Put it this way, If I open a form and the size of the form is small and it will see the backdrop as blank. So I want the backdrop behind the form to be some picture or colour.

I hope you understand what I want

Tks

I think you create a .bmp with the same name as the .mdb and store it in the same directory.

That just changes the splash from the Access license info to the bitmap.

Is this what you're looking for?

Thank you. This is exactly what I asking for but I need picture behind the form.

Can you teach me.

Regards.

As I said in the thread, I had to remove the pictures to make it small enough to upload.

To put it back, open up the database proper (either by holding down shift as you load it, or loading it and hitting F4 twice).

Once in, select Forms, then highlight 'Background' and click on the 'Design' button in the upper left of the Forms window.

Right click anywhere on the grey background, and select 'Properties'. Click the 'All' tab, then click in the 'Picture' box. Click the elipse (the three dots) that have appeared to the right of the box, navigate to where-ever the picture is on your PC and Robert is your father's brother :)

Bit of fun.

If someone is giving you the sh..s try this

On your form timer event procedure put:

Dim i As Long

Randomize

i = Int(999999999 * Rnd)
Me.Detail.BackColor = i

and then set the event time to 300

that should give them a headache real quick :D :D
