Hi Folks,
I am testing a ACCDB/ACCDE that uses linked SQL tables and Access as a front-end; everything works perfectly, however, in the very rare event two or more users try to book a single open appointment at the exact same time, the following error is generated:
'The data has been changed.
Another used edited this record and saved the changes before you attempted to save your changes.
Re-edit the record.'
Although this error/message makes sense to me and I am glad it is ensuring data integrity, is there a way I can overwrite it to make it more user friendly, such as something like:
"Some other user just now booked that available appointment, please select a different one" and then undo the box they check-marked automatically and go one record forward automatically so they can select the next record?
Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide,
Joe
