Hello,

I have a database that I have inherited. I am trying to delete an "unbound object frame" in a report and I am getting this error: "The OLE server isn't registered. To register the OLE server, reinstall it."

I don't know how to fix this. Where can I go to reinstall the OLE server? or is there some kind of work-around for this?

Thanks for the help.

This is a bump on the same topic. I am using Access 2003

I have the same issue - I can't delete an unbound image from a report - I keep getting the "OLE server error" despite reinstalling it as per the above article. This is not a clip art image, so this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262887 doesn't help either.

I have the visibility property set to no so it doesn't show. But reinstalling the Ole server dosen't allow me to cut/delete the image. This article seems to apply to a "Data Access Page". However it doesn't help. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I suppose if worse comes to worse I can copy and paste everything into a new report. But surely there is some way to cure this!

I couldn't delete an OLE image and got the error message: "the ole server isn't registered". As a workaround, right-click the image, select 'change to', then select 'image'. You'll get a warning that you can't undo the conversion, but that's okay. After converting to image, delete it.

In my case the OLE Class was "Microsoft Photo Editor 3.0 Photo".

AWESOME. This fixed my problem straight away. I knew there must be some other solution than to have to re-install the entire application...
.....for a small little thing I played with as a mistake 15 years ago.

You da man KeithB14!!
