'The search key was not found ... '

I have a piece of code which worked excellent then days ago, now when I try it I'm getting an error message "The search key was not found in any record".
I didn't change anything in the code, I just redesigned couple of forms visually?
What could cause this error to happen?

Sounds like corruption to me. Have you ran a commpact and repair? Is the database split FE/BE? Do you have a back up?

Yes I did all that. And You're right it is corruption. When I put three more lines of code on particular spot the corruption occurs, so I drop that plan out and leave everything as is.
Why is access so vulnerable, can similar things happen in other programming languages and environments?
