The answer to this is probably No. I'm using a combo box to display some names. It's unbound.
I'm also putting the first item into the text box area. (and not using dropdown if the count is just 1).
It all works as hoped but two highlights appear - one in the text area and one in the list..
It looks stupid. I know it's the Access default, but is there any way to remove the highlighting and leave just plain text?
In this case there's no need to select one - just see them.
Failing that, is there another control that might do the job?
