"there is'nt enough memory to perform this operation..."

helppppppppp:(

Check the joins and so on in your query. I think if you do something wrong there, the db can flow over.

Fuga.

the thing is , is that i havent craeted no queries

I am having exactly the same problem with a fairly simple database created and working fine under Windows XP. When I transferred the mdb file to a Windows 98SE machine, I keep getting the same "Out of Memory" message after applying a few search filters within a form.

I think it might have something to do with the "Memory Bleed" problem within Windows 98.

Please let me know if you find a solution to this problem.

Regards

Doug Richmond

I found that using the bitmapped backgrounds for forms eats up a lot of video memory. Removing the background images solved my problem.

"Out of memory" message

One thing which seems to have resolved this "Out of memory" message appearing, especially when trying to access the VB code on a form. is that when editing the code of any form, remember to close all the code windows of all forms before closing the main VB code window itself.
