Third combo box optional

Hi,
Any advice on how to get a third combo box on a form to be optional.
I have a form with two combo boxes which filter out the results on a query.
However I want the third combo box to be optional i.e. if it is blank then just the results of the first two combo boxes are shown. If the user selects all combo boxes then obviously the results are based on all combo box selections.
As always any help appreciated.

thanks for the reply. Setting the Or to Null returns all the records but it ignores the filters I have from the other two combo boxes.

I design view I'm guessing it added a field? If the criteria is on two lines now, copy those 2 to the second line.

Hi Paul,
I am still not getting the results I am looking for.
Current query design has one field with a criteria of the first combo box selection, another field has a criteria of the second combo selection. The third combo box i need to filter on the results of the first two combo boxes if i select it. If i don't select it, i still need to see the results of the first two combo boxes.

What is the SQL of the query? Or can you post the db here?

Hi Paul, I remembered I was provided with a solution to a multiple combo box search form which achieved the results I was looking for. The query criteria below entered into the relevant field column is what I am using. The Is Null is used on the OR line of the query. Thank you.

Like "*" & [Forms]![myForm]![myControl] & "*"
Is Null
