Network engineer, eh? In my case that was the default title since I was WAY too advanced to be a senior programmer or analyst. To pay me, they had to call me something like "Network Engineer III" or something like that. Oh, I knew a lot about networks and protocols, but they didn't represent the bulk of my work.
