Hi, I have a form that on closing comes up with a input box asking for "Enter Parameter Value" for a combobox on the form. How can I stop this from happening?

Does the Combo exhibit this sort of behaviour under other circumstances?

Hi John Big Booty, Thank for your reply

No only on closing

I have coincidently run into a similar situation. Is the combo on a sub form and being populated by a query that has criteria derived from the main form?

Hi Again John Big Booty, Thank you, but I have consequently fix the problem I had by recreating the combo box from scratch, (originally I copied and pasted one from another combo box on the same form). Once I had done that the problem has gone. It is now all working fine.

Thanks again

does it show this box in other circumstances (eg when saving a record)

when you close a form, access saves the current record. so it it sounds to me like you have a dirty record, and access is doing exactly the same as it does when you move off a record, or save it in other ways. I would suspect something in the forms beforeupdate event/after update event
