Tiny navigation bar

Is there a method to adjust the size of the tiny navigation bar at the bottom of a form? Searched Form Properties, don't see anything applicable; poked everthing pokable in Design View, can't find any adjustment for the navigation bar; I'm at a loss, any advice greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this is the issue, but you can make your own custom navigation buttons. There are many examples of code. Here is one.

Direct answer to your question is NO. Its part of the form and cannot be modified.
However, as @MajP pointed out you can hide the built-in navigation buttons and create your own. For example:
