Toggle button

Hi i have been looking a sample database and saw a feature which i didnt know that Access could do. it was using a form with list of customer names which had a list of toggle buttons on the form footer.

there were 27 toggle button each one with a alphabetically letter and when you pressed say for example the button with the letter E all customer names with E will appear on screen.

i have tried to implement this feature on my database but for stock items but have not been succesful

please can any one help me
