Is this Insane? (Too many queries within a query)
We have a fairly complicated Access Database where I work. We have added new letters to a long merge document. It merges the addresses of insurance companies and doctors and the like. There is a Contacts table with all of this information which uses numbers as Key Tags (or whatever they're called). It was setup before me to have each individual party's information come from an individual query (Doctor1, Doctor2, etc.). I have a main query that uses numbers to lookup from each of these individual queries to get the party's info. Therefore, I guess the main query is running 17 other queries. Is this ridiculous? Is there a better way to do this? The reason I ask is that the merge is taking like 4 minutes to complete
