Is there a good tool for writing the XML?

Also, does anyone have an Access add-in for an icons gallery? I have the one for excel, but it would be nice to have it in Access.

See a tool designed entirely in Access.

http://www.ribbons-access.com

The site has great videos that explain very well. Well, I learned a lot from the videos presented.

You can download and test the application for some time.

The most interesting is that the tool is not held hostage. You'll end up learn their use XML and aentender better the mechanism of construction.

I have a licensed copy of MontaRibbons and have used it successfully for quite sometime. It is a great tool.

I have an Access version I can post. If you search my posts, I have put it up here a while ago :)

Nigel, I found your upload. Thanks. Can I include it in Aphrodite?

Mr. B. I have installed MontaRibbons before, but if I recall it did not work for me. It kept getting giving me an error at a certain step. I have Windows 7 64 bit with Access 2010 32 bit. I have used Gunter's program though, and that works well. Though at this point, I don't need to use it anymore. I'm not really trying to find tools to build the ribbon for me, as they are too limited. I was looking more for things to help me write the ribbon, like Nigel's post on imageMsos.

I also use this tool MontaRibbons. The videos offered are worth gold to anyone who really wants to learn. Today I am able to mount ribbons without any tools. The guy was very attentive to me when I needed to take my doubts.

Nigel,

I though you might like to hear that I managed to get the images tab in Aphrodite, without the word document that you used. I also made a minor change to the on action callback. When the user clicks the image, the control's id is copied to the clipboard, instead of the entire <button.../> line. I am not sure when this version will be out though, it may be up to a few more weeks.

Well done mate :)

Always intended to do that myself but I just never got round to it! Be great to see an updated version coming out soon

Cheers
