I was wondering if it is possible to get a tol that is on a form to be placed in a table. If so can it be done with out using code because i havent a clue about using code

Is it a total of other things on the form? If so, then it is not advised.

Its a sum of share numbers on the form

Are these numbers stored in a table?

No they arent. I am a amateur at using access so if i amnot making my self clear i apologise

Welcome to Access, now take a deep breath and explain it a little better (i.e a bit more detail)

To go with your initial enquiry, it can be done.

On your form, if you have the object with the total in it, you'll need to set it's ControlSource to the field in your table.

Also, ensure that the form's RecordSource is set to the table you wish to write tha data to.

Where is the record source because my contol source is a dsum
