Hi,

I'm trying to get a total which runs off of a query in a listbox (disguised as a textbox) to always show 1 decimal place. Right now, it'll show one decimal place only if the number is rational. If the number is whole, it doesn't show any.

E.g. For 8.5, it'll show 8.5
For 8, it'll show 8, not 8.0

I want it to show 8.0

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can't you set the format property to do this?

I didn't see a format property for this on a listbox...

Do you know how would I do this within SQL, if it's possible?

I had/have a similiar problem when I want to concatenate some text with a number in a Text Box, such as ="Fee is: $" & [fee]. The [fee] field in the table is formatted as currency with 2 decimal places but the result is: "Fee is: $6", not "Fee is: $6.00" as expected. To solve the problem I have two Text Box fields side-by-side. ="Fee is: $" in the first box and =[Fee] in the next. A kludge and getting it spaced just right has been a pain but it was the best I could come up with.

Hum...

Base the rowsource on a query and the use something like:

MyNewNumber: FormatNumber(myNumberFld,1)

???

KenHigg,

Just want I was looking for! Works perfectly.

Thanks!
