I have a report that has equipment information ie computer serial numbers and account information. This report is generated through access and has a barcode that references the information in the form. There is an Excel spreadsheet that lists account information along with the equipment serial numbers. Unfortunately my department does not want to convert this excel spreadsheet to access. So my question is how can I send the spreadsheet information from access to excel using an account number.
Access would have to connect to the excel spreadsheet search by account number, and then change specific fields within that record.
Any suggestions would be great
