TransferSpreadsheet not exporting records

My "DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9" operation has stopped exporting records. I do not receive errors like the path cannot be found, etc. The operation seems to be successful until I open the excel file to find no records.

I am using A2003 and E2003. However recently my company installed E2007 compatible versions. It's not E2007, but converts E2007 files is how it works, I think. I'm not convinced this is the problem though because I'm pretty sure the operation was working after this compatibility update.

DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9, "qryExportOpen", "H:\WEC2\Punchlist\Open Items.xls", True

Things dont just break for no reason.

Make sure there is actually records to be exported.

try saving the data manually to see what happens - ie exporting the open query

try saving to a csv, then importing the csv.

after the export (ie before you open the file - is the file size 0, or non-zero) - ie perhaps the compatible E2007 isnt so compatible

Thanks for making me go through that process. It caused me to notice the records were being transferred to a new tab. This must have started when I changed the name of the query a while back.

Namliam was right. Nothing broke.
