transparent combo boxes?

If i select some combo boxes and then select away from them, they appear to go transparent (or grey seeing as my background is also grey)

The real problem is that there are some that do this and some that dont and i dont know why they do or dont change color when i unselect them.

Is there a reason for it doing this?

Look at the fore colour, background colour, border colour, font colour etc.. properties on that field.

change Back Style to normal.

Are you using Access 2007? That charming behaviour cropped up with Access 2007

yes I am using access 2007 however it appears odd that this only occurs on SOME boxes and not others.

If you look around the forum, you'll see people who have seemed to find solutions for this problem. Microsoft says that it was corrected with some service pack and people have tried different things but I still see the problem that seems random in Access 2007. That's just one reason I didn't switch to 2007.
