Trim first 4 characters (alphanumeric) from field in report when printed

I have fields to show in report but I don't want the first 4 characters to print out or show.

I probably wasn't clear enough.
There are numerous fields on the report which is absed on a query.

For 1 field only, do I not want the first 4 characters to show on the report.
How to do this?

llkhoutx is right, it is just his brief style...

In the control related with this particular field in your report, set the recordsource property to the formula he wrote.

Hum, seems that I am a bit too confident in llkhoutx.

The right formula is :
= Right(texte, Len(texte) - 4)

The other one makes just the contrary of what you want.

The Left function only gave me the 4 left characters which is what I did NOt want, but your help got me to the MID function which did the trick when I put it in the underlying query.
