Trouble importing Access Query into Excel

Hello. I have a very simple select query in Access that I need to import into Excel (so that it can be refreshed from within Excel). During the import, I get the following error message in Excel (although I have seen the same error in Access on other occassions): 'Two Few Parameters. Expected 3.' Does anyone know what this is about and/or how to fix it?

This usuallymeans that you have misplelt field names or ommited field names in your import spec. Anyway are sending data to Excel if so that is normally referred to as Exporting not Importing, which implies data going from Excel to Access.

Thanks, but I don't think that's it. I am actually importing, not exporting. I am setting up an ODBC connection in Excel to my Access database. I then select the particular query, bring in all the fields, and when I click 'OK', I get the message. Boggles the mind.

Can you simply link the Excel spreadsheet to the mdb and use the data accordingly.
